Tips for Setting Up

Set-up and fill the 2' X 28" bed first, then set up the 1' X 4' and fill. Add organic infill into the 2' tall bed to help offset the need for soil. Add in whatever you have lying around that will add nutrients and decompose, such as old firewood, grass clippings, leaves, wood chips, straw or hay. Use what you have and save time and $$.

Smaller version for people more concerned about filling them than the bending over.  

1 ft garden beds were made because a lot of raised beds are made with wood and are less than 1 ft high to save money and soil. These are basically the same reason we made this version.  Plus, ours is more rot resistant than normal wood and doesn't leach and dangerous chemicals like treated wood, and costs way less than cedar.  Termites don't eat it.  And it ships easier, sets up quicker and  without the need for tools.

Originally a manufacturing error when our guys measured to the wrong mark on the table and made some extra small garden beds, we started offering them as show specials when we would vend.  They were so popular we decided to keep offering them, but only through our web page and in person.  You won't find these at other retail locations.  

They may be small (and cute!), but there are a tone of uses for them.  People like them because they are a cheap and easy way to try out the whole Garden Circles idea.  Other people like them as compost bins.  Some people put them inside a 1 ft high, 4 ft diameter Garden Circle to make a two tiered garden, especially for strawberries.

They have even been used to grow potatoes in kinda like the potatoes in a barrel concept.

Add-Ons allow you to make your garden beds as long, or as creative as you want.  The idea is that you start with a Round Garden Bed and then link Add-Ons together from it.  You could do the same thing by just butting full rounds tight together, but this saves a few bucks on materials, and that adds up when you are putting several of these together in some serious yardening or gardenscaping.

Add-Ons are made of the same lightweight, durable materials and come rolled up in a bag.  They set up in minutes without tools - just unroll, and fasten to the previous bed with zip ties.  The mesh is a galvanized wire for long life and the fabric is a super heavy duty landscape fabric.  These beds should last at least as long as a wooden raised bed.

Inspired by some surplus materials, we have just created a new 10 inch tall garden bed that is 3 ft diameter.  And we're eager to get rid of them!  ...er, send them off to good homes across the country.  Although accidental, this time, our gnome friends also appreciate this garden bed because they feel taller around it.  We hope the gnomes in your garden feel the same way.

Seriously, though, this is a real bargain for anyone looking at doing low raised beds.  7 square ft of grow area for this price is almost a breakthrough.  Compared to the standard price of our 3ft x1ft bed, this is quite the bargain.
